Description

A beautiful bowl that could be used to hold trinkets, a candle, or use it as a vase to hold a seasonal decoration of greens and berries. This is an easy project to complete suitable for practically and age.

You will be provided with a slab of clay and a template to complete this project. The finished project is about 10 x 7 inches. Depending on how deep you make your bowl, your measurements may vary.

Come back a two weeks later to glaze your bowl. Two green glazes or clear will be available for you to finish your bowl.

Once fired, the bowl is microwavable, dishwasher safe and oven proof, if protected from thermal shock.

You can pick up your bowl within 3 weeks from when you glaze it.

This is the project for Sunday 11/22. The Slow Sunday workshop is offered from 2 – 4 pm. It will probably take you about an hour to make the bowl. A different project will be offered each week. Check here for future projects.

Payment may be made through this website or at the door with cash. Attending a drop in studio does not count towards the prerequisite requirements for attending open studio.
