Description
In an effort to offset the ever expanding costs of starting a community pottery studio at the old Prescott school in Groton, now about 3x what I budgeted, where I plan to lead classes and workshops in throwing and hand building with clay, I have made these mugs. I am selling them at a premium because of this. I hope to start classes in July – assuming all the pieces fall into place – which, if you know me and my attempts to start a business, is never the case! Anyway, I would appreciate your help. I absolutely enjoy sharing my love of clay with other folks, and I think it will be a really good fit with Prescott. The mugs are dishwasher safe, microwavable, and oven proof. The town seal is fired to a temp of 1450 degrees F so it should withstand the dishwasher. The mugs are nearly 4 inches tall, and about 3.5 inches at the widest spot. They hold about 10 ounces. Let me know which color scheme you want.
If you want to save yourself the shipping costs, use coupon code “no shipping” at checkout, and I will leave your mug on my porch for you to pick up, or you can get it at Prescott. For more of my pottery, check out my other website.
This would make a nice mother’s day or father’s day present for your Groton spouse. Fill with chocolate candy or flowers, or a bag of specialty coffee or tea, for that special one in your life.
