Description
A tzedakah box is a container for putting money in to donate to those in need. Using a slab of clay, you will be instructed on how to make the box. Add feet, such as this whimsical box pictured , or leave plain. The sides – before firing – are about 3 x 3 inches. (You can just make a box – it does not have to be a tzedakah box).
This project is for December 22, from 2 – 4 pm. This is a fun project for all ages. The time to make your box will depend on how much detail you add. I am guessing it will take at least an hour. Come back two weeks later to glaze your box..Glazes will be limited to white, green, blue or our nearly full pallette of underglazes.
