SUMMARY:Make a Vase
DESCRIPTION:Spring is coming and this workshop is an opportunity to show off beautiful spring flowers in a vase you make yourself.  The first class\, February 4\, 6 – 8 pm\, students will be given a square cylinder of clay about 8 inches tall\, and 2 inches square. Using additional clay to decorate the tube\, there is no end to the designs that are possible. Add clay to make flowers\, add texture\, make a mountain scene…no end to where your imagination will take you. Students will also finish the tube so that it holds water. The second class\, February 11\, students will glaze their vases. Depending on how much detail you include\, it is likely that each class will take the full 2 hours provided.  \nTo reserve a seat for this workshop – vase

SUMMARY:Make a Soap Dispenser (or lotion)
DESCRIPTION:This shows the bottle\, and a potential way of decorating. This is a vase\, but we will finish the bottle for a pump.\nWhy not replace that plastic soap dispenser on your counter with a beautiful one you design and make yourself? Functional beauty. In this workshop you will make a soap dispenser\, the bottle of which will be about 7 inches tall (the pump and neck will add additional height). The bottle can be either a round cylinder or square. The surface of the bottle you will decorate – a few options are pictured here\, but there really is no limit on where your imagination will take you.  \nThe dispenser\, once finished\, will be dishwasher safe.  \nThe class will be limited to 8 people. The price also includes a pump for your bottle. \nThis is a 2 day workshop that will take place February 18 and 25 from 6 – 8 pm. \nTo reserve your seat in this workshop\, click here: Dispenser
