SUMMARY:Drop In Sunday - Garden Fish
DESCRIPTION:There are catfish\, dogfish\, why not garden fish? In this workshop\,  you will be provided a slab of clay about 8 x 11\, from which you will make a fish (or bird)\, about a foot long\, or two smaller\, perfect for adorning your garden. SUMMARY:Make a Whimsical Box
DESCRIPTION:Using stoneware clay\, with all the resources of the studio available to you\, you will be led through the steps to make a whimsically decorated box. The box itself will be about 5 inches square. You will be provided with 6 squares of clay\, each 5 inches square\, that you will assemble into a box. We will review different ways to decorate it. The box will be a clean canvass – up to you to decide how to decorate it. It will take about an hour to make\, you can use the remainder of time to decorate it.  Come back the following week and glaze it. The nearly full pallette of underglazes will be available for intricately painted designs. \nAdd a fun top\, crazy legs\, out of the world decorations on the side! So much fun – a chance to let go and let your creativity shine! What can the box be used for? I have no idea – whatever you want!  (Depending on how you decorate it\, it will be dishwasher safe after it is fired) It is just a chance to have some fun with clay! \nThe workshop will take place February 18 and 25\, from 6 – 8  pm. All ages welcome. Depending on what direction you go\, both classes will likely take the full 2 hours.  \nAll ages welcome! \nPLease familiarize yourself with the studio rules
