CANCELLED – Sunday Drop In – People Bells

CANCELLED – Charming wind chimes for your garden! I am going to be unloading the kiln shortly where my models are – hopefully they turn out good enough. In the event they do not, I have included some examples from the internet.

Due to the nature of glazes, only the bell part of the windchime will be glazed with a gloss glaze. Underglazes can be used on all the other body parts because the glaze will not melt onto the kiln shelf. In the picture enclosed, the picture on the right shows the bells being glazed with underglaze. The color is permanent, but not glossy.

You will  be provided with a slab of clay and a template to make one large wind chime, or 3 small chimes. Decoration or details (hat, flower, shirt, etc.)will be up to you. 

The windchimes should not be left out during the winter of freezing temperatures. It will be up to you to assempble the pieces.
