Sunday Drop In – Make Ornaments

Join us to make ornaments. Using a prepared slab of clay, you will be led through the steps to make ornaments that will survive for generations to come. You can use any of the cookie cutters available in the studio, or bring your own. Or, create your own design – like the melting snowman, or gnome.

Sign up for the following week’s project, and you can glaze your ornament, too, or let one of our staff glaze the pot for you. You can pick up your ornaments 3 weeks (more likely within a week- just taking into account the potential for problems) from when you glaze it. (You can also come back once your ornament has been bisque fired and glaze it for no additional cost.)

This is the project for Sunday 12/10. The drop in workshop is offered from 2 – 4 pm.  It will probably take you about half an hour to make the trees. You can come any time between those hours – just plan on half an hour to make the project.

A different project will be offered every weekend. Projects for the winter include, tree luminaires, and ornaments, and heart shaped pocket vases. Once glazed and fired the pots will be dishwasher safe, microwaveable and oven proof. For more information about future projects.
