Make a Ceramic Box- April

Looking for a quick creative project to celebrate spring? Working with a slab of clay you will be led through the steps to make a beautiful and functional ceramic box. Use it for Q-tips in the bathroom, specialty teas, or to store that ever important navel lint or herbal stash. It will be dishwasher safe, microwavable and oven proof once finished. You will have an open slate to decorate your box, you can use one of a hundred different textures in the studio (rolling pins, stamps, and texture plates) or add clay applique. This is a great project for those who have never touched clay and for folks who have. I will provide a template, but you can create your own shape with the clay provided. All ages welcome. 

Come back in a week, Sunday, February 25 at noon to glaze your box. Choose from hundreds of possible glaze combinations.

This workshop takes place Monday,  April 22 and 29 from 3 – 5 pm. It will likely take the full 2 hours depending on how much detail you add. Come back Monday April 29 at 3 pm  to glaze. That should take about an hour.
