Make a Bowl with coils – drop in sunday

Using prepared coils, and a mold, you will be led through the steps to make a coil bowl. The bowl will be big enough for ice cream or trinkets. Pictured are bowls made by other artists typical of what you could make. Coil pots are a great introduction to clay. Even the most novice will have success.

Sign up for the following week’s project, and you can glaze your pot, too, or let one of our staff glaze the pot for you. You can pick up your pot 3 weeks from when you glaze it.

This is the project for Sunday 2/4. The drop in workshop is offered from 2 – 4 pm.  It will probably take you about half an hour to make one bowl. A different project will be offered each week. Once glazed and fired the pots will be dishwasher safe, microwaveable and oven proof.
