Drop In Sunday – Sushi Dish

I had a really hard time getting  decnt picture of this sushi dish . The dish itself is slightly less than a foot long and 4 inches wide. It is formed by molding  the clay into a banana leaf tray. You can also make a small dish for sauce, and a stand for chopsticks. The sushi dishes, once finished are dishwasher safe, ovenpproof and microwavable. 

You can decorate the dish using any of the rolling pins, or stamps of the studio. After you make it today, plan to come back in 2 weeks to glaze.  White, blue and green glazes available to finish it. Or use any of the nearly full pallette of colors available with underglazes.
