Drop In Sunday – Make a Street Number Plaque

Working from a prepared slab of clay,  you will be led through the steps to make a street number plaque for your house.  You will have a prepared slab of clay, about 8 x 11, from which to make the plaque. You should bring your own number template to work from – knowing you only have an 8 x 11 slab of clay to work from. I would suggest using half the clay for the base of the plaque (8 x 6)  and the rest of the clay to add the decorations. (I made the sample product on the fly, so the numbers are no where near perfect).

Come back two weeks later, and glaze your plaque. In this project, a full palette of underglazes will be available.

You can pick up your plaque within 3 weeks from when you glaze them.

This is the project for Sunday 3/24. The drop in workshop is offered from 2 – 4 pm.  It will probably take you about half an hour to make the plaque. A different project will be offered each week.
