Ceramic Box with Lid

Working with a slab of clay you will be led through the steps to make a beautiful and functional ceramic box. Use it for Q-tips in the bathroom, specialty teas, or to store that ever important navel lint or herbal stash. It will be dishwasher safe, microwavable and oven proof once finished. You will have an open slate to decorate your box, you can use one of a hundred different textures in the studio (rolling pins, stamps, and texture plates) or add clay applique. This is a great project for those who have never touched clay and for folks who have. All ages welcome. (Pictures to follow soon). 

Come back in a week to glaze your box. Choose from hundreds of possible glaze combinations.

This workshop takes place Monday,  December 4 and 11, from 6 – 8 pm.
