My plan is to have this drop in suncday project completed for you in time to celebrate on November 5.
For this Sunday Drop In project, you will make a jar with a cat – as pictured. You will be supplied with a slab of clay, which you will wrap around a form to make the jar. A template, in the shape of a cat, will be created, on which you can base your cat. The cat will be attached to the jar – and you can use letter stamps to create a label with whatever words you desire. This project will likely take an hour to make. The jar will be microwavable, dishwasher safe, and ovenproof once finished.
Hopefully, the jars will be bisque fired during the week, and you can come back the next weekend to glaze. In the event that they are not ready, they will definitely be ready 2 weeks later. There is no addironal charge for glazing. You will be notified when your jar is ready for pick up.
