Drop In Sunday – Make Garden Bells

Working from a prepared slab of clay, or extruded tube of clay, and templates, you will be led through the steps to make bells that will make beautiful windchimes in your summer garden. In making your bells, you will have a choice of an 8 inch extruded tube, or a slab of clay about 8 x 11. How many bells you get out of your clay will depend on how big your bells are. There will be a limited supply of each, and it will be first come first served.

Come back two weeks later, and glaze your bells. In this project, a full palette of underglazes will be available., s well as a blue, green or white glaze. You can pick up your bells within 3 weeks from when you glaze them.

This is the project for Sunday 3/17 .The drop in workshop is offered from 2 – 4 pm.  It will probably take you about half an hour to make the bells. A different project will be offered each week. 

Payment may be made through this website or at the door with cash. Attending a drop in studio does not count towards the prerequisite requirements for attending open studio.
