Drop In Sunday – Chicken Luminaire – 3/10

Seems like chickens are popular with folks! Keeping with the theme, we’ll be making chicken luminaires. This delightful chicken will look wonderful on your spring holiday table. (This fine fellow has yet to be glazed, and once finished new pictures will be added)
Working from a prepared slab of clay, and templates, you will be led through the steps to make this chicken luminaire, or, use your own design.
Come back two weeks later, and glaze your chicken. In this project, red, yellow and white glazes will be available to you to finish your project. A full palette of underglazes will also be available.
You can pick up your chicken within 3 weeks from when you glaze it.
This is the project for Sunday 3/10 .The drop in workshop is offered from 2 – 4 pm. It will probably take you about half an hour to make one piece. A different project will be offered each week.
Payment may be made through this website or at the door with cash. Attending a drop in studio does not count towards the prerequisite requirements for attending open studio.
