Cancelled! – Make a Folded Bowl – Sunday Drop In

CANCELLED Looking for something to do with friends and family who may be visiting this week? How about a folded bowl? Functional, attractive, and a fun creative project for all ages. 

(The bowls pictured I just made and have not been fired or glazed.)

Using a prepared slab of clay, and a template, you will be led through the steps to make a bowl similar to the one pictured. Make it yours by adding texture, or clay decorations.  

Sign up for the following week’s project, and you can glaze your bowl, too, or let one of our staff glaze the pot for you. You can pick up your bowl 3 weeks from when you make it. (You can also come back once your bowl has been fired and glaze it for no additional cost.)

This is the project for Sunday 12/24. The drop in workshop is offered from 2 – 4 pm.  It will probably take you about half an hour to make the bowl. The more detail you add the longer it will take. You can come any time between those hours – just plan on half an hour to make the project.

A different project will be offered every weekend. Projects for the new year include, a heart bowl, a heart wall hanging, and a heart pocket vase. Once glazed and fired the pots will be dishwasher safe, microwaveable and oven proof. For more information about future projects.
